Beyond the Book: Paint & Print with Dye - Lesson 4: Stamps and Blocks

COURSE | 1 Lesson Ann emphasizes printing with blocks and stamps of your design to develop your own style. She discusses how to choose materials, some that can be heat molded, others that can be scored to make very fine lines, adjusting the viscosity of the colors as needed by the materials. You see how to create complexity by overlapping and varying scale and direction of prints. Colors: rusts and aquas.

Lesson 4 includes the following

  • A 57 minute video
  • Handout: Recipes-Steps-Materials (4 pages)
